The Rosebud Fountain and Grill was named from Victoria's colorful history.
Victoria, Texas was known as the city of roses in the 1920's-1940's
era. Also, the Victoria Rosebuds were a minor league professional baseball
team that was based in Victoria from the 1920's until the 1960's. Owners
of the Rosebud Fountain utilized these historic elements in the naming
of their vintage restaurant. The Rosebud Fountain is locally-owned,
one-of-a-kind restaurant that boasts a 1940's era soda fountain theme.
The kitchen turns out great food from an impressive menu that offers
weekday breakfasts, fresh-baked scones, daily lunch specials, outstanding
burgers, beer battered french fries, real homemade onion rings, chicken
dishes, luscious salads, some of the best seafood in the state - fried
shrimp fresh from Palacios, oysters, frog legs and catfish.
You can enjoy, from the authentic 1940's soda fountain, malts,
shakes and ice cream favorites made with real ice cream.
